Description
One-of-a-kind, inlaid wood backgammon board, with compass detailing in the center of each panel, and heart shaped tips at each of the games points. Circa 1890-1900. Likely sailor-made during long stretches at sea, allowing one the time to make equisitly detailed pieces with which to play with and perhaps give to a loved one when on shore.
Closes at center. Nice aged surface.
Measures 22 1/2″ x 20 1/4″ when open.
